Dining room stored 4 yrs and delivered

Downsizec in 2018 and used OBriens to store antique maple dining room furniture and rare English china. Daughter in another state bougt a house and wanted delivery. Scheduling said nothing for 4 weeks, but your scheduler looked hard for an opening and delivery in just one week. Dining room items worth several thousand all intact and gorgeous!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. From scheduling to finishing the move, this team is by far the best. Upon scheduling I was advised of the entire process and what to expect. The team arrived on time the day of the move and finished early. They were careful with all items and finished early. 100% recommend!

We used OBriens to help us downsize from our large home to an apartment. This required some stuff to get moved to the new place and an equal amount to go into storage. All the OBriens people were friendly, hard working and careful with our stuff. Done quickly and efficiently. A great experience and would highly recommend!

O’Brien’s Movers took over the final leg of our long distance move from NC. The local company assigned to us for our packing and loading in NC had been a rough experience, and when move in and unloading day came we were nervous. The crew from O’Brien’s was absolutely amazing from the start. Daniel, Ferman, Steve, Angelo, and Chuck were extraordinary. They were professional, timely, and worked like a well oiled machine together. They took pride in their work, and showed care toward our things and our house. They even noticed disparities and damages that occurred from the loading in NC, and took great care in letting us know, took pictures, and took their time explaining next steps. We moved during a heat wave to top things off, and they never missed a beat. They worked so hard, and we honestly couldn’t thank them enough. We have to move one more time locally in a year and will no doubt contact O’Brien’s for our final move in a year.

Highly unprofessional and ride

The guys did showed up on time and move was going fine until they tried to assemble the ping-pong table at the new place. Daniel kept tinkering with it for an hour with no progress - they should have taken a picture on how they unassembled it - it was 10 min job. Then he was on phone with his boss Kevin for more than 30 mins explaining him how it is very tricky to assemble it. They knew they were dealing with moving ping pong table (as it was part of the estimate) and were not prepared to handle it efficiently. When I spoke to the boss, Kevin, I was told to pay for the time he was on phone with his guy. Kevin kept screaming at me on phone and did not let me talk and threatened me that the truck will not move away from driveway if I do not pay for extra time. They also broke few things including scratching the ping pong table for which I will be filing the claim. Please save yourself from them.

Everything was going fine with the move until the ping-pong table assembly.The estimate that you signed was for included the moving of the ping-pong table,not disassembling&reassembling.Once the crew realized that it could not be moved intact,they had to dissemble it.At destination, the crew did experience difficulty in reassembly.You became very irate with the crew at that point and also with our manager as you didn't want to pay for the extra time it took to reassemble.It was not that the crew did not know how to reassemble it,but the fact that your ping-pong table would not re-align properly.We don't take ping-pong tables apart unless absolutely necessary for this exact reason.We sent a 4th worker out(at no charge)&also removed one half hour.As far as the plastic totes pictures you posted,they were packed by you,not O’Brien’s.Had we packed the items,we would have put them in proper boxes and packed them properly.We are issuing you a $100 refund to your card as a gesture of goodwill.

I just cannot say enough good things about these guys. They were so awesome. This was a big move for me and I really did try to keep everything smooth sailing and I’m so glad I chose O’Brien’s. There were 3 gentlemen and they were just wonderful. If your stuff being damaged is a concern, you need not worry with these guys. Everyone I have dealt with has been a pleasure. I would definitely use them again.
