Absolutely Fantastic Experience
O’Brien’s Movers took over the final leg of our long distance move from NC. The local company assigned to us for our packing and loading in NC had been a rough experience, and when move in and unloading day came we were nervous. The crew from O’Brien’s was absolutely amazing from the start. Daniel, Ferman, Steve, Angelo, and Chuck were extraordinary. They were professional, timely, and worked like a well oiled machine together. They took pride in their work, and showed care toward our things and our house. They even noticed disparities and damages that occurred from the loading in NC, and took great care in letting us know, took pictures, and took their time explaining next steps. We moved during a heat wave to top things off, and they never missed a beat. They worked so hard, and we honestly couldn’t thank them enough. We have to move one more time locally in a year and will no doubt contact O’Brien’s for our final move in a year.
Highly unprofessional and ride
The guys did showed up on time and move was going fine until they tried to assemble the ping-pong table at the new place. Daniel kept tinkering with it for an hour with no progress - they should have taken a picture on how they unassembled it - it was 10 min job. Then he was on phone with his boss Kevin for more than 30 mins explaining him how it is very tricky to assemble it. They knew they were dealing with moving ping pong table (as it was part of the estimate) and were not prepared to handle it efficiently. When I spoke to the boss, Kevin, I was told to pay for the time he was on phone with his guy. Kevin kept screaming at me on phone and did not let me talk and threatened me that the truck will not move away from driveway if I do not pay for extra time. They also broke few things including scratching the ping pong table for which I will be filing the claim. Please save yourself from them.
The best experience
I just cannot say enough good things about these guys. They were so awesome. This was a big move for me and I really did try to keep everything smooth sailing and I’m so glad I chose O’Brien’s. There were 3 gentlemen and they were just wonderful. If your stuff being damaged is a concern, you need not worry with these guys. Everyone I have dealt with has been a pleasure. I would definitely use them again.

Awesome. The 3 men were so good to me and professional. Pete, Omar and (apologies for 3rd man’s name). An antique 2 piece hutch that they handled with white gloves service. And they moved my couch into my new home without a hiccup. I used O’Briens 5 years ago moving my things into storage and again on 12 May moving from storage to my new home. Thank you each!

The moving experience with O'Brien's Moving & Storage (Allied Van Lines) was exceptional from the initial estimate through the actual delivery. Everything was explained in a straight-forward manner. The movers were at my house at the estimated arrival time, they wrapped the furniture in plastic, blanketed the wood furniture and had their truck loaded in no time. They drove across state and were able to deliver my furniture the next day. They arrived an hour early, unloaded the furniture to a 3rd floor apartment, unwrapped everything and took all of the plastic wrap with them, and did not scratch or damage a thing. The movers were very careful with the furniture along with the apartment walls and stairway. As I mentioned, an excellent experience. I recommend O'Brien's Moving & Storage very highly!
Outstanding!!
We had a complicated move that involved 2 phases, a month apart. Our experience right from the beginning (Making the first phone call all the way to the end) was amazing. They were courteous, personable and knowledgeable. Like I said, we had a tricky move. CJ and his crew during phase 1 and then Mark, Tom and Jackson for phase 2 were all top notch! Not a single scratch...etc... Both crews went above and beyond our expectations. Efficient and just all round professional. We felt the cost of service was very fair. Thank you so much for a great experience.
