The wonderful town of Perkasie is located in a quiet corner of western Bucks County. It is a very pretty town known for its wonderful park system, which is a key ingredient in attracting families and outdoor enthusiasts to live there.

  • Kulp Park: Sitting on over 7 acres of natural beauty, the park is a recreational park that has ample space for walkers and joggers, and also has basketball courts, a baseball field with grandstands, an aquatic pool, pickleball courts, and a pavilion picnic area.
  • Lenape Park: Located along Perkiomen Creek, Lenape Park has also long been a great recreational park for people who love sports and outdoor activities. The park offers 2 baseball fields, a sand volleyball court, a bike trail, a Skate Park, a rotating pavilion, and a wonderful amphitheater
  • P.erkasie Dog Park: Also located in Lenape Park, the park contains one acre of fenced land where dogs can play off-leash. There are benches to sit on while the dogs are playing, along with running water. We love dog parks!
  • Perkasie Park: Located in the center of town, it is not your usual “park”. The 21-acre park opened in 1882 as a privately owned facility and still is today. Perkasie Park is one of a handful of intact camp meeting facilities that continue in operation in Pennsylvania. The first villagers stayed in tents, but the park owners decided to build 60 wooden Carpenter Gothic cottages in a large ring that surrounded an incredible outdoor auditorium. Even today, the owners want visitors to experience what people experienced over 100 years ago. Only 1 day per year are visitors allowed to tour the full camp meeting grounds and go inside selected Victorian cottages. However, the park has had summertime religious services there since 1982, hosts services from various local churches and religious groups, and the historic auditorium has hosted secular events for the past 134 years! In addition, 63 of the 66 buildings in Perkasie Park were considered contributing historic structures and the Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Board unanimously approved the nomination of Perkasie Park to the National Register of Historic Places recently.
  • Menlo Park: The park has many amenities, including a playground, a hexagon climber, a gaga pit, a zip line, the historic Perkasie Carousel, and 2 pavilions. Adjacent to Menlo Park is the Menlo Aquatics Center. The center consists of 3 pools: The Competition Pool, the Leisure Pool, and the Toddler Pool. The Competition Pool has 8 lanes of various depths, diving boards, a rock wall, and a drop slide. The other 2 pools offer a variety of options, including a whirlpool, a lazy river, an activity pool, a frog slide, a whale spot, a splash pool with all kinds of sprayers and equipment, and more. There are also locker rooms, a snack stand, tables and chairs, and lounge chairs available for use.

There are very few towns the size of Perkasie that can boast this amount and array of parks! No wonder people love living in Perkasie.
