Phoenixville is a growing area in Chester County, Pennsylvania, with a population of 19,871 residents. Phoenixville is where the famous science fiction horror movie, “The Blob” theatre scene was filmed at the historic Colonial Theatre (not sure if a comma is needed here ?) way back in 1958. Phoenixville holds an annual “Blobfest” there each year, and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Um, they kind of take this “Blobfest” pretty seriously. It is a 3 – day event that features a “Run Out”, which re-enacts the panicky moviegoers running out of the movie theatre, a Blog Ball, several showing of the movie, a 5K, 10K, and half marathon Blog Run, a Street Fair, and people dressed up in various monster costumes!

Another cool fact about Phoenixville is a 74-foot Ferris wheel that was built and installed by the Phoenixville Steel back in 1895 has returned to Phoenixville. This Ferris wheel was the signature feature of the boardwalk in Asbury Park, New Jersey for almost 100 years. The Ferris wheel was taken apart and the original carriages, motor, and some of the connected beams were placed in different parts of the borough. Now Phoenixville has secured the land to build a large platform anchored in concrete to recreate the original Ferris wheel.

He performs songs from various popular singers and has provided the team with over 400 songs, which helps create the incredible atmosphere at Citizens Bank Park. ​
