Bear Creek Mountain Resort, located right in our backyard, is a magnificent four-season destination for year-round adventure seekers. The sprawling resort is also a perfect venue for weddings, meetings, and conferences. Winter at Bear Creek

The resort has 21 trails over 86 acres and offers ample skiing and snowboarding, along with several trained instructors. The morning offers sunrise snowshoe tours. Bear Creek has 3 places where you can enjoy a meal. The Mountain Eatery is only open during the winter season and features on-the-go options, including breakfast, handcrafted sandwiches, and an array of wonderful hot soups. Trail’s End Café & Bar offers breakfast, tons of appetizers, and Happy Hour from 3 pm to 5 pm Monday through Thursday. The Grill at Bear Creek is the place to go outside after a cold day. There are 3 large, stone fireplaces to warm you up, a cozy bar, and a fabulous menu with 12 dinner selections.

Springtime Bear Creek

All non-winter activities get going, especially with The Mountain Activity Center opening at the beginning of May. There are over 7 miles of scenic trails for hiking and mountain biking (you can rent bikes), along with activities such as disc golf, axe throwing, archery, target shooting, kayaking, paddle boats, fishing, on-and off-trail Guided SXS Tours, and picnics abound.

Summer Fun at Bear Creek

Summer continues the host of spring games and activities and also introduces the wonderful outdoor pool, summer camps, outdoor mountain yoga classes, lawn games, volleyball, horseshoes, quoits, corn hole, can jam, ladder ball, huge rope swing, and more. Nighttime features outdoor music, movies under the stars, and firepits with s’mores kits.

Bear Creek in the Fall

With the end of summer, the water sports start coming to a close, but the trails are still wide open for walking, hiking, and mountain biking. This is an incredibly good time to hit the trails, as the leaves on the mountain are in full color. It is a spectacular scene! Bear Creek Resort also has a wonderful Octoberfest celebration, with live music, food, and a wide array of local craft beers. The restaurants also feature locally fresh fall ingredients.
